Soupy saline black pepper cherry Jam. Tempranillo bright, rustic fruit in a classic style. 2 hours of air. Very drinkable.

Isaac Fernandez has made a lovely wine. I wonder what the people picking grapes from these old vines (trees) were thinking...if the old vines could talk. They might mention something about the gravely soil flavor they imparted on the wine, or their balanced and deep rooted lifestyles.

A dark and moody red color. Young and barely ripe fruit (strawberry?) giving way to tobacco-y, mineral-y notes swirling around a vegetal earthiness. Dirty tasting in the finish but no complaints here.
