Fumin

Reminiscent of Cabernet Sauvignon. Very dark.

Velvety long finish. Smokey and a touch of violets: this is the Scotch of wines.

A much bigger vintage than previously. Still nice tart cherry, sage, and stone, but a richness that is a bit incongruous.

Like velvet. Dark candied berry on the nose, followed with a powerfully soft forest floor tobacco mouth. Citrus & fennel in there too. Strong tannic finish.

Great mouthfeel. It’s a big red but has a lightness to it with great tannins. Dark red fruit. Very nice. Needs some time in the bottle.

Big and earthy, yet supple and smooth. My first Fumin!

Black pepper, full-bodied beauty. Loved it til the last drop.

Leaping Riesling esque mineral nose. Really good wine. Interesting.

This wine comes through every time: dark as blood, but fruit forward, a powerful complement to plin al brasato at Perbacco.

Traces of strawberry, mocha, chanterelle mushroom, and cigar box; all of these subdued. All about the silky texture.
