Central Otago Pinot Noir

I hate the label but enjoy the wine. Medium bodied with delicately spiced raspberry fruit and savory earth. Polished tannins, sleek acidity, and smooth concentration. Great QPR.

Medium ruby, bright stemmy pronounced aromas of red plum, violet, forest floor, coffee, hint of clove and oak influence. Dry, medium+ acidity, medium abv, medium body, herbal notes, black tea, red plum, black cherry. A bit out of balance but a pleasant drink

Nose of ripe red fruit and alcohol. Palate with notes of berries, herbs, pepper, finishes with the signature Pinot Noir note

Love this Pinot noir. Nuanced and just a bit earthy

Super ripe raspberries... low acid with just enough tannin in the finish to keep it interesting.

Great value for money wine.

Typical of Central Otago. A darker Pinot. Plum on the palate. April 2024.

I wanted to like this wine a lot more than I did, color me unimpressed, especially at the price point.
