Birth year stunner. An amazing example of Classic Cali Cabernet: moss, eucalyptus, mint, dried blueberry.

Wow! 2005 Rubicon at its very best. Needed a hour to really express it's self. Great structure , rich and full bodied. Winner big time here.

Being there when this was made and seeing it twenty years + later was a little melancholy- the promise is always there in its massive structure - never delicate or pretty - finesse is/was never its long suit. Lengthy but a little hard for a generous year.
