holding up quite nicely. dried red fruits and flowers. Definitely loamy, earthy, barnyard. acid still solid, tannins baby bottom soft. But I taste the current vintage next and can see that this is past prime. still, I enjoyed it. 12/2017

Oak black fruits aroma. Slight sweet and spicy. Concentration. A bit black and sweet direction compared with Gran Selezione. One hour decanting, powerful and completion. 2011 @1600(1920), Fwine -, 211030-211106

Mature aromas of dried cherries and ripe tomato (& tomato leaf). Yet the tannins still show grip, the purity of fruit is prominent and the acidity still juicy. This one has a few years to go. A very, very good wine.
Single vineyard, old vines, 90% Sangiovese with Cannaiolo & Mammolo.

Everything you want it to be. Out of 6 bottles opened 3 were bad and the other were exceptional.

Picked up this bottle in October at the winery in Chianti. Enjoying it in Arizona for our anniversary. Fantastic wine. Highly recommend it.

Wow! Excellent. I'd agree with other reviews that this one can go for a few more years before it hits its prime. All the bones are there for a total winner.

I would drink this every day. So good with food. Enjoyed this with veal chops with some brown butter and sage. It really brought out the best in this wine.
