Really good mouthfeel and balanced tannins, red fruits, sweet. Pretty good, but not as good a value as I'd like.

Apr 23rd, 2017Bordeaux-esque Merlot from Italy. Light, with lots of secondary notes coming through. Drink now.

Nov 15th, 2016Goes to show that I have never been steered wrong by Weygandt Wines. This is lovely, old-world merlot. Earthy, aromatically rich and textured but not heavy. Right bank without the heavy oak. Damn fine wine. Only negative is that this is fairly secondary for a 2009, with resolved tannins so wouldn't hold long.
