Single Vineyard Old Vine McMinnville Riesling
McMinnville, Willamette Valley, Oregon, USA
Clear, pale gold in color; on the nose, it's clean with medium intensity primary aromas of lemons and lemon grass; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, medium alcohol, medium body, and pronounced primary flavors of under-ripe apples, lemon rind, and saline with a long finish. Overall, this wine is simple, but intense. Overall, I rate this wine as good. Nellie didn't like it.

solid w/petrol & minerals, saline & citrus, but even better on second night: Holy Tangerine, powdered sugar, ripe orchard fruit, silky but w/verve

Mar 2nd, 2025Pale gold in color; yellow apples, petroleum, and honeysuckle on the nose; high acidity; tastes like citrus zest, beeswax, and starfruit with a long finish. Nellie says it's too acidic. I'm hoping it pairs well with a charcuterie board. I think it's a good, dry riesling.

Jul 24th, 2020A little too sweet. With a sugary finish. For $14.95 it’s ok.
