Old Vine McMinnville Pinot Noir

Cherry, currant, cranberry, rhubarb, strawberry and oak. Light-bodied and soft tannins.

Bright red color, light tannins with some red fruit (strawberry/cherry) notes. Somewhat tart but light and airy.

not an opaque red - has a rosy blush to it, similar to a ruby. a light smell, not acidic, notes of strawberry on the nose. tastes very bitter, but smooth. very light bodied. not for me.

opaque ruby red, strong fruity bouquet - raspberry or cherry, light bodied; mouthfeel and aftertaste is light with some tartness (would get better if sat for more time - years)

Pale ruby color, not opaque. Light bodied. Notes of strawberry, raspberry. Some tartness present. I might enjoy an earlier vintage more.

Smooth, light bodied red. Not too dry nor bitter. Deep ruby red in color. Aromatic notes of dark red fruit, flavor notes of raspberry and plum.

Drank this the night before and the night after I drank the a Kistler RRV PN of the same vintage, and this totally outclassed the Kistler.

This is very sophisticated for $20, slowly revealing layers of fresh red fruits, spices, and earthy elements. On the palate it’s vibrant yet smooth, with good depth of flavors. The slight bitterness on the long finish does not both me at all.

East drinking, soft Pinot Noir. Enjoyed it.
