Hyde Estate Carneros Napa Valley Pinot Noir 2014: Medium-bodied. Great balanced. Well integrated tannins. Bright red fruits (raspberry, cherry, pomegranate & currant). Plum. Spice. Earth. Long-lingering finish. All in all, a delicious & excellent Carneros Pinot! Glad I was introduced to this Carneros beauty. Cheers🍷

2012 Vintage. Not as strong tannin as I expected. Showing some age. Ripe fruit, red cherry, medium tannin, medium acid, medium+ alcohol and medium body. Some forest floor and chocolate. Dry with maybe some residual sugar. Ruby with garnet rim variation. Good complexity and medium long finish. I like this wine. It would be even better if the acid level is a bit higher. Enjoyed it a lot at a good friend’s place.
