Zweigelt

Deep Ruby with aromas of red fruits and spice notes. The palate shows flavors of cherry and ripe red plum with pepper spice. Medium finish, vivid acidity, grainy tannins, simple ending with fruit and spice. Just ok, drink now!

A little spicy/peppery. A little bit of resin on the finish.

Light and bright, similar to a pinot, but in my opinion, better. Lots of red fruit, but with deeper character too.

2015. Lighter body, spicy, cherry, great QPR for a 1.0 L bottle. Went really well with a Moroccan Lamb Pasty that has chick peas, spinach, and dried cherries.

A little funk on the nose. Some acidity, pairs well with food. Lighter and great for the summer. 2015 vintage

1.0L for $10.37. Peppery and and tasty with a nice edge.

Light, easy, extracted. None of the usual pepper notes to this Zwiegelt, which makes me think it may be blended with something else, and mislabeled. A good wine, if you were looking for a spatburgunder.
