Vanilla, baked cherries, rose petals and mild cola waif from the glass. Bright and juicy on the palate with ripe red cherries, fresh cranberries, dry gravel and mushrooms on the mid to back palate with a hot, medium finish and medium tannins.

Loving Lamy’s reds lately. This vintage is ready to go imho. Bright fresh fruit on the nose and palate. Rocks and all that good minerality. Velvety texture which was beautiful and set it apart from pommard or volnay.

May 5th, 20212021/2/6-8 with pollo en salsa verde, etc. Bright red and blue berry fruit with freshly turned earth and a bit of limey minerality. Light but fleshy.

Feb 9th, 20212021/2/6-7 with grilled beef filet, rigatoni alla gricia and grilled cabbage salad. This was a nice country Burgundy - no new oak is used (or at least that was the case for other recent vintages), leaving cherry, strawberry and pomegranate fruit. It’s light and open-knit and on the right side of herbaceous.
