I made spicy stir fry chicken accompanied by wasabi green peas. The pairing: 2014 Horton Vineyards Viognier (5% Petit Mansang), a match with its floral aromatics and mouth-coating melon and tropical fruits. This wine was more voluptuous the second day, with intense fruit flavors running the gamut from citrus to tree to tropical and outstanding aromatics. That bit of Petit Mansang goes a long way. A great example of Virginia Viognier.

Had the 2018 Viognier
Gorgeous amber.
Thin in the mouth and has an almost nonexistent nose.

The flavors were lacking too not much except for a slight bitterness at the finish.

This bottle stayed in the barrel too long.

will not be buying this again.

Like way too much makeup on an ugly woman. I love viognier...this is not good.
