Pale gold; medium plus intensity aromas of fresh nectarine, canned peaches in syrup, pineapple, mango, rose petals, intense vanilla, cream, cedar, toast; off dry, medium minus acid, high alcohol, full body, pronounced intensity flavors consistent with aromas; this is a big, thick, ripe wine; decadent in its flavors and new oak treatment; delicious, but drink sparingly (very high alcohol)

2012 Herman Story Tomboy. Very rich, oaky, big, and a little over the top for me.

Why would you do this to a grape like Viognier? Tone that nonsense down

Great little Sunday night treat. Oak and alcohol have integrated to make this a great Viognier.

Light gold color. Best viognier I’ve ever had. Strong nectarine, honey, and buttered toast on the scent. Taste is tangy melon, followed by floral and earthy mineral notes, with a surprisingly spicy finish. So complicated.

Super hot - 17% alcohol. Opened up pretty nicely. Apple, vanilla, fairly buttery. Served with poached halibut with roasted parsnips and blood oranges. Wouldn't drink it alone, but Nice pairing
