Loire Valley Gamay. Dark ruby/purple color. Aromas and flavors of juicy cranberry, red plum, red cherry with additional notes of violets, mushrooms, earth and baking spices. Medium-minus body (based on the color you would think otherwise) and medium acidity. Extremely soft tannins and bone dry. You can smell and taste (pleasant) the carbonic Maceration. Quite interesting. Excellent with food.

Gamay. Fruit, red cherries on the palate. Had off experience with the nose. Swore I got Caesar salad dressing initially but then disappeared later into fruit

Earthy cherries. An old acquaintance of mine was so obsessed with Loire Valley wines that I would roll my eyes all the times he couldn’t stop talking about them. Now I concede that they’re definitely worth all the hype.
