Pleasant surprise, here. Everything you could want in a Mendoza Malbec at this price point. Cocoa notes, myriad red fruits, loamy earth and a hint of smoke. Only lacks the super long finish, which I am forgiving due to the vibrancy of the aforementioned. Pass this around freely, in the same manner that Henry IV 'Le Grande' or Good King Henry of France's head was passed around after a good grave desecration, remembering that despite his philandering, and a host of bastards, he did father Louis XIII.
