Nice label! — 8 months ago
Dry and red, as advertised. Reasonable price. — 9 months ago
Ok we are a little dubious about this one. At $12.50 USD a bottle this one was covered with a thick layer of dust at the Grand Bahamas liquor store. But they only had 4 reds and we’re trying all 4. We’ll let you know. Ok we’re letting you know. It’s fizzy! Yikes! We don’t like fizzy. — 4 years ago
Il Ducale 2019, red and robust with steak. The label says it is a blend, but of what varieties it does not say. It does say, en français, “moderne, intense, et fruité; une vin de caractère”. We agree. — 5 months ago
Unlike my memory of zinfandels on the beach in California, but quite compelling. Almost bitter, yet dark and soothing. Chocolate is like that. — 9 months ago
Nice label, although it talks about “stone-balancing “ with a picture of 3 balanced stones on the back. A blend? We didn’t know for sure. Tastes lovely. Light tannins add some depth. What is a Ripasso technique, anyway? — 7 months ago
Very dry, nice level of tannin, first Spanish in a few years makes us want more, and the price was right. — 8 months ago
2022 vintage, nice slightly smoky as well as currants, for a young wine enjoyed in Freeport Bahamas — a year ago
