I was really hoping this was a simple, tasty Cru for those on a budget. However, it is largely indistinguishable from any random Big Brand California grocery store wine. There's no reason this should be as processed and boring as it is, but it is all the same.

Bright, clean, excellent acidity. Hell of a picnic wine.

Sour cherries and crazy loam, spiced up with a refined acidity. Beaujolais Crus continue to impress and confound me, and this one - like all the others I've tried - has a personality all its own. Delicious quaffing!

Enjoyed the 2011. Wonderful floral nose, with light cherries. I didn't let the wine breathe and sipped almost immediately after opening. Bad idea - tasted like someone had placed several drops of Welch's into my glass. Then I waited about 15 minutes or so and the grape juice element had evaporated. Was left with a much more balanced taste, with light acidity and layers of red fruit. A lingering finish too. I enjoyed this and it's a good value too.

April 4, 2016. NCAA BB Championship game. Hoping it's a celebratory bottle, not a drown your sorrows one! Exciting game, rather boring wine.
