Terrific. Almond, pear, white almonds, green apple, ripe pear, complex, concentrated, acids, so bright, elegant. Deep. So so good.

Nose is a bit quiet. Mineral, sinewy, some apple fruit. More to come. What a palate. Big, ripe and rich with lime fruit, complex minerality and a long long finish. Terrific acidity. @Delectable Wine this is not Kanzell.

Initially a bit muted (and slightly off) on the nose this has minerality in spades.
This is not for everybody but the production numbers also “helps” with that.
540 bottles produced.

This is not for everybody.
Not just because production is a mere 540 bottles but rather because it is showing so backward at this point.

My 2nd encounter with this vintage and just like first time I detect something slightly “off” on the nose that I can best describe as reduction?

I need to familiarize myself with more Weissburgunder’s before making a judgement.
