Vieilles Vignes Aux Echezeaux Gevrey-Chambertin Pinot Noir

Soulful. Roses and violets on nose, strawberry, candied tart red fruit and spice. Good finish and beautiful wine.

1st bottle of 2019. Rustic a bit. Lots of gevrey here. Structure and tannin.

Never had a more truffled gevrey🍷!!! What a treat! Black truffle, black trumpet mushrooms with beguiling high toned red and blue berry’s! Why Burgundy keeps me coming back... tho I technically can’t afford it! 😩

Man what a wine and so approachable for a Gevrey for such a youngster. I have had this for a while but never opened it. Has to be one to collect for the cellar. Dried cherry that stays with you for a hot second. Fresh cut roses

Very good but the '13s and '14s are earthier and more energetic.

Jabs the senses on open and rustic. Rounded out with air and showed more wild blueberries, black licorice, mushroom and tea. Pretty wine and will get better with time.

Conservative and traditional, the fruit could be purer and more transparent but the body has a good richness.

Drinking really well. Can’t imagine it getting much better.

Rich & sappy fruit. Way to young that still needs more time.
