Henri Bourgeois
Jadis Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc
The 2018 Sancerre Jadis has a sense of liveliness through its plump core. When I say plump, it still remains mid-weight at most in body and bounces gently along the palate. It's silky and supple offering fine chalky texture. It was first produced in 1998 to reflect the style of the wine that their grandparents produced, so oak barrels and concrete tanks were used rather than the more modern stainless steel tanks. (Rebecca Gibb MW, Vinous, August 2022)

Gorgeous tropical fruit, honeysuckle, citrus, hints of pineapple. Showing great at 5 years. Big vote for laying down Sancerre. Lovely with moules
