Bright, almost confectionary fruit in the nose. Also violets. Great acids and crisp, ripe flavors. A really good spaghetti and meatballs wine!

It's like a field of strawberries mixed with lavender, violets, and fresh cracked black pepper. Been searching for this wine for a few years and it's as good as I had hoped.

This wine makes me so happy. It's so much fun, a la gamay, but with a little citrusy zip to it. Grignolino, there's some day drinking in our immediate future.
