This 73 drank better than any of the bottles in my two cases left! French Laundry gang handled the bottle with aplomb and clean as a whistle. Pure fruit, melted tannins and solid acid backbone. The first nose was all Martha's with the distinct Eucalyptus minty nose and lengthy complexity for over 3 hours. A true classic that is outlasting the legendary 74!!!

Jul 16th, 2016This 73 was in perfect shape as cork was perfect and wine in the neck. These are generally drinking better than the legendary 74's now and 1/3 of the price. Of course Eucalyptus and rich Cabernet notes with firm tannins and excellent grip. Wrong food for this wine today at Al's Place!
