Showing red and blue fruits with light wood, spices, coffee, earth, dark chocolates, tobacco leaf, herbs, peppercorn and light vegetables.
Nice length on the finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a delicious Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from Howell Mountain in Napa Valley. Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel. Soft and smooth, spicy and entertaining.
This 8 year old feels a little muted at the moment, and needs 5 years in the bottle to mature properly. Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years, and shows good potential to become a 94+ point wine.
Fruity, easy drinking, and a great sipping wine, that will also pair nicely with a big piece of steak.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were aged in new and neutral French oak barrels for 3 years.

Aged for 3 years, 2 years in 100% new French oak and 1 year in neutral American oak. Deep Ruby with aromas of ripe berry fruits with bramble herb spice. On the palate, black cherry and blackberry flavors with currant, tobacco and herb leaf notes, has an underlying subtle sweetness. Full-body, fine juicy soft tannins, nicely integrated, balanced with acidity ending with earth, nutty character. Very Nice! Tasting Sample!

2019 vintage. Coming across as more of a Mount Veeder or Spring Mountain imbroglio instead of Howell Mountain. Granted, it was PNP. Wine needed a little more than the venerable three hour tour to right affairs and avoid the shipwreck. I say, Lovey, if we ever get off this island...8.12.26.

Haven’t had this since 2019, aging fantastically.
As with all other Heitz you need to hold 10-20 years minimum.
