Bright orange-pink. Pungent red berry and floral aromas reveal subtle orange and pit fruit notes as the wine opens up. Chewy and penetrating on the palate, offering bitter cherry, red currant and nectarine flavors that deepen and turn sweeter with air. Shows fine finishing clarity and persistence and leaves a sappy red fruit note behind. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, June 2020)

Less complete of a #rose#wine at this price point than I remember. Medium body, round edge. Soft fruity nose, peachy, quick fuzzy flavor. Opened 11/25/17

The second 2015 rosé I've sampled from Hecht & Bannier, aside from admittedly loving their modern packaging, I have been impressed with both the Bandol and this Côtes de Provence in terms of quality and price. A blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, and Rolle, it's an expressive pink. The vines flourish under the warm maritime breath of the Mediterranean Sea. Clay-limestone soils impart characteristic minerality along with a classic Provençal profile of red berries, and a lilting top note of fennel pollen.
