Santorini Aidani
Floral, melon, refreshing. Never had Aidani. Quite a bit different than the Assyrtiko I’ve had.

May 10th, 2018Nice deep gold color.
Intense and big aromas like ripped mango or yellow peach. Exotic. A bit pungent. The nose let you think it might lack acidity and freshness but it is not the case, just the opposite once in the mouth. A beautiful surprising balance. Even some slight fizz coming from nowhere. The wine is sligh oxydative.
Yummm ... a true pleasure.

My first experience with Aidini. Complex little grape. The wine was straw yellow and a tad hazy. A bit of sweetness like a Viognier but combined with the crisp saltiness of an Assyrtiko. I liked it.
