Aug 20th, 2021This is drinking really nicely now- highly recommend- sometimes you have to wait for these older vintages to shine- this one is light &fruity, A nose that will challenge not only your memory but your palate. Notes of strawberry, cherries, a hint of vanilla. It's mouth feel is perhaps the most even ever felt on this tongue. Perhaps amongst one of their best vintages of from the" legend-(wait for it) dairy" terriors in the Santa Rita lowlands that Grey and Frank have offered. Although this label continues to amaze year after year with their simplicity, consistency and value.
