Hartford Court
Three Jacks Vineyard Chardonnay
Pale lemon color with aromas of stone fruits, spice, floral and citrus adding some yeasty notes, aged in French oak (15% new) for 13 months. On the palate flavors of apple, pear & apricot with lemon citrus zest, honeysuckle and nutty notes. Smooth, long finish, well balanced with lively acidity, ending with fruit and wet stone mineral character. Nice! Drink now! Pair this with shellfish or seafood dish.

Better then my last bottle!! Medium/deep golden color to it. Tangerine, dried apricot, banana, a drop of caramel.
Medium+ bodied, vibrant & fresh, with good acidity & nice richness. No need to hold on to these wines. Enjoy!

Dec 24th, 2019It’s a very rich style chardonnay, but it’s unapologetically delicious. Professional scores have it as high as 97 and the purity of fruit along with the deft use of french oak and balanced acidity are certainly deserving. It strikes a nice balance even with everything amped up and an alcohol level of 14.6%. Only 326 cases made, if you see a bottle in the wild drink it!

Aromas of ripe peach, lemon curd, dried apricot, vanilla, hint of tropical fruits, and nutty nuance. Rich but not buttery. Viscous yet light on its feet. Acidity is as good as it gets. Balanced and elegant.
Small production of 346 cases. Very nice development entering 8th year.

Acker buy at $13. Golden yellow color, oxidation and Sherry notes on nose but less so on palate. Honey and citrus notes and some minerals on finish but sadly is just a bit bover the hill. Still a decent deal and bet it'll be better after a day in small bottle. Only bottle of this vineyard. 811 cases.

Aug 24th, 2018Full rich aromas of peach, pineapple, vanilla, oak and lemon oils. The palate is lush and creamy but bright and clean. Flavors of peach, citrus and almond lead to bright acidity, subtle oak and a touch of pineapple core. The finish is crisp and stony with a touch of creaminess. Wonderful with quiche lorraine.
