Almost opaque with light a ruby core and pink rim. Combo of primary and secondary notes on the nose driven by very ripe red and black fruit. Med + intensity and complexity with abv sticking out. Notes of roses, spice, milk chocolate, tarragon, vanilla and bread along with the fruit. Unfortunately the palate fell short of the nose. Concentrated strawberry fruit preserve with a mossy, earthy background. Strawberry palate, with nutmeg mid palate and bright acidity, savory finish that lingers.

2011 Hartford Wines Maclean's Block Pinot Noir. Classic RRV, garnet color. Ripe cherry, plum, baking spice, earthy notes. Nice long finish.

Blackberry, cherry and cedar on the nose. Deep dark fruit and full finish on the palate. A definite addition to my "go to" collection. Nicely done.

V10. Outstanding. Smokey, jammy, white pepper bouquet blend seamlessly with rich black cherry fruit. Soft, chalky mocha finish.
