Gran Reserva Albaclara Sauvignon Blanc

My first sauv blanc from Chile...delivered what I thought...green veggies all the way, some tart/ripe apple citrus fruit..,med acid...short finish...i liked it. But i want to try one from the coolers areas of Casablanca ..Antinori property...

Another solid $10 SauvBlanc that doesn't go full white grapefruit citrus bomb. Classic Chilean SauvBlanc nose of veggies, green bell pepper which translates to the palate. Light , dry with minerality undertones and flinty smokiness. I feel it's a good representation or rather a good entry point into what Chilean SauvBlancs are all about. You can't go wrong with this one.

Apple, grapefruit citrus. Medium acid. Surprising.

Wonderful Sav Blanc. Tastes more like a Pinot Grigio. Tart little bite. Drank with MA and C at Jekyll

Put your nose in that is like cracking open a new honeydew or papaya. Not a crisp sauvy but it hits the buttons

Minerality on the nose. Interesting sweetness on the palatte for a sauvignon blanc. I liked it.

Pretty grassy/herbal, and doesn't seem as fruity. Moderate minerals. But went pretty well with cod.
