Sonoma Valley Chardonnay

This was amazing! Purchase from winery during a tasting back in the day with my Dad. WOTN for everyone. So young tasting. Never would have even guessed close to 2008. I’d drink more Chardonnay if it tasted like this.

Hazelnuts. Showing its age hard.

Delicious with a roasted chicken and asparagus dinner.

Fully mature and ready. Golden apple, quince, honey.

Butter, yellow delicious apple, stone fruits, fresh mango, pineapple, sweet baking spices, med+ acidity, lovely long finish. 42 year old vines, 415-810 elevation, 92% Hanzell clone, 94% St George, 27% new barrel, 73% stainless steel fermentation. Full malo. 18 months’ aging.

Aged perfectly. Would be very hard to call blind. Tastes like a 1er cru burg. Love.

Holding up well.

Firing on all cylinders. Lemon curd and frangipane with mint. Great spot with a ton of time in front of it.

Exceptional Chardonnay showing very youthful with plenty of years to go on developing in the bottle.

Extraordinary chard that punches seriously above its weight. Fine, classic mouthfeel and so supple. Supple. Great freshness. Mineral too. Delicious.
