Hahn Winery
California Cabernet Sauvignon
Deep Ruby red with dark berry fruit aromas and oaky notes. On the palate flavors of ripe blackberry and plum flavors with oak, pepper and some hints of smoky floral spice. Ok mouthfeel and balance, fine tannins, medium finish ending with spicy character.

Jun 12th, 2023Fruit forward, not memorable. Tasted it then moved onto another wine pretty quickly. That said, it is wasn't unpleasant, just not for me at that time.

Jul 17th, 2017I didn't like it at first. But after I had a few chocolate chip cookies this paired fabulously. Fabulous! Requires chocolate.

Rather attractive nose of black cherries, cassis and slightly dominating oak. Juicy black fruits in the mouth with obvious but well-integrated oak. Good California value at about 20 euro. At first it seemed a little too oaky, but it evolves well in the glass so take your time or decant.
