Suggest this be enjoyed with some hearty food. Far too bold to be had without. Enjoyable, but there are better Rioja's at this price point

A traditional style Rioja blended with farms ha and graciano. Nose still a bit closed, tannins apparent but not intrusive. The wine has lots of acid, best consumed with food. Kicks the butt of your average $12 red and has a pedigree that most of the others don't.

Well made Rioja, juicy yet not confected. Gentle tannins, ageing gracefully, just enough complexity to keep things interesting,
very drinkable!

2008 Vintage. I love this wine, primarily for the value, but there is subtle complexity that makes it a great. Buy it up if you can find it.
