I love this bottling. Nose has that crushed rock minerality and vulcanized rubber. Herbs, apricots and kumquats. It has that small citrus and stone fruit thing going on. Wow that is concentrated and has insane off the wall minerality but it’s so round and juicy and caressing. This is so elegant and so refined and has such grace and class. A big step up from Grafeneberg in refinement and complexity. Palate has so much lime zest, lime blossom and lime flower. Zesty with tremendous acids and finishes very very mineral. Cut from a diamond style Riesling. Wow. So so impressive.

Jun 5th, 2024Stunning nose of confectionary aromas, peach, lime zest, slate, slate dust, rock candy, lemon and more. So complex. Palate is epically juicy and so balanced. Perfect balance of sugar and acid. Sick tension. But also so nimble and waif like. But also very concentrated with flavors of peach flesh, tangerine, tangelo and kumquat. A genius wine that will unfold. I’ll be back. This gets very juicy and nimble with air. Lovely.

Jan 12th, 2024Gorgeous apricot, peach skin, extreme minerality. Holy fucking acidity. Highest acidity of the vintage. Gorgeous elegant structure. Still has power allied with finesse. Nose has extreme minerality. So concentrated and complex and super refreshing. Light yet intense and so etched. Like a Titian. Stunning. 12 grams of acid. Wow.

First time with this bottling and I have deep regrets about buying only four bottles. The acidity is extreme. It swallows the residual sugar, leaving just a hint of sweetness, though the sugar makes the fruit burst on the palate and gives the wine density. Shockingly concentrated and intense with salty, mineral depth and a very long finish. This is closer to a generous Grosses Gewachs than my conception of a Kabinett. Thrilling wine! @Lyle Fass is this typical or an anomaly of the vintage? More importantly, do you have anything like this to sell me?

Wow. This is amazing. Green apple jolly rancher. Nose has some white flowers. Very intense.
