Pale lemon with stone fruit aromas & spicy floral tones. On the palate crisp apple and peach flavors, with blossom and cinnamon spice, lively acidity supporting the oak and “sir lie” aging. Medium+ finish ending with vivid acidity and mineral tones. Very nice, Tasting Sample.

A bit LESS old world than the prior 2014 vintage. More pronounced oak character, burnt popcorn mid palate, lack of malolactic brings a crisp, more unwieldy finish.

Delicious, true old world style chardonnay. Rich, roasted popcorn, mineral freshness, clean and subtle. Some cross between a rich meursault and a lean chablis.

Amazing acidity, drank like a chardonnay from Sonoma coast. Very little oak and nervous energy!

Impressed. Fennel, lemon goodness. Got better the longer it was open and not ice cold.

Nice Burgundian finesse. Oak treatment but no malolactic. Allows for that rich, oaky vanilla without that fat texture. Retains natural acidity and crisp texture. More food friendly and even keeled than many balls-to-the-wall-oaky chardonnays.
