Vallee d'Aoste Fumin

I love this producer. This wine is deeper, darker and more structured than some of their other (no less interesting) varietal bottlings. Brambly and smoky wild berries abound. Young but approachable

Very agreeable

A little underwhelming.

Красная и чёрная смородина, ежевика, черника, гуава, цветы, тертые листья, влажная земля, розовый перец, лакрица. Средне-легкое тело со свежей кислотностью и ещё чуть сушащими на финише танинами. Спело, сочно и свежо. Довольно просто, но симпатично.

Vallee D'Aoste DOC 2010, 12.5%. Typical grape from this region. Ruby red color, and characteristic smoky nose. Not very tannic, but rich in anthocyanins. 86/100

medium body red/black super grip, almost no fruit up front, straight to sawdust and soil....and then some super sour cherry finish! ....totally rad

Extremely dark, but much lighter on the palate, with violet, cherry, and earthiness. As I have said before, this is a wonderful wine!
