Very nice white wine, but not very complex at the same time. Stand alone, it is a citrus packed, high acid, crisp white similar to the way a dry Sémillon from Australia drinks. Combined with the Mediterranean spices in Greek and Med cuisine, and it is perfectly at home. Might just take a little journey through Greek wine this next month and see what I find!

Pale straw, golden edges with white and citrus fruit aromas. On the palate grapefruit and melon, very crisp. Medium, ok balance smooth finish, mineral notes on end. Tasting Sample.

Intense oak as well as high acidity, strong minerality all together in this assyrtico 2012. Great for strong chablis likely palates!

Zippy acidity. Almost took the enamel off my teeth. Needs fried seafood.

Light, zesty, lime, mineral.. nice acid. Nothing wrong with it, just a bit nondescript for my liking.

Crushed volcanic rock! Started off a bit waxy with hay, peach, lime and opened up with baked apple and spice. Great acid and med-body.

Tried after chicken. I was not impressed with this at all. It has no flavor, no character, and does not go down smoothly. In fact, it has a rather stinging aftertaste.
