Reliquus 2019 cab St Helena Napa (grace family).
This one shines bright with red cherry and raspberry notes leading a nose of blueberry and cassis as strawberry peeks through. The palate is silky and refined despite grainy tannins which amplify versus detract. Depth and intensity that is a dichotomy considering the fruited nose. Elegant, sinewy and serpentine. Scrumptious.

2023 vintage. Last tasted 6.3.26 (9.1). That was PNP. This version had been open 4 hours. Excellent stuffing and solid structure in place. Unified and all pulling the rope the same direction. 6.24.26.

My first Grace Family - their second bottling - and absolutely on point. Would put this more on the extravagant side but with polish and it was just what I needed!

Jan 29th, 20252019 vintage. Second vintage of the second label of the historic and 1st wave cult Napa cab Grace Family Vineyards. Versus the main effort/big gun, this has a bit more acidity/tannins but is only slightly less delicious. Old school Napa cabbage for sure but without prejudice and attempting to rally future generations to the cause. Tremendous concentration. Roughly a fourth of the price of Grace Family Vineyards Estate Napa Cab. 292 cases made and 100% Cab but weird-ass packaging. C'mon peeps. 10.09.24.
