Goose Island
Sofie Belgian Style Farmhouse Ale
A touch sweet on the back end with crisp green banana on the front. Well balanced and thick lingering palate.

Nov 25th, 2015I feel like I used to like this more. Oak and spice feel a little heavy handed these days. Maybe the difference is drinking it on draft at the source vs. in bottle on the west coast. Maybe it's ABInBev.

Sep 24th, 2016The nose is tropical, pineapples and macademia nut funk. Palate fuller bodied with a nice cut. A great food ale, married beautifully with the zatar blend on flatbread and the spices on the basteeya.
