Richard's Cuvée Willamette Valley Chardonnay

Great texture.

Smoky pear and flint aromas, great balance of earth/flint, tart acids, rich fruit and vanilla. Oak has a cameo role.

Technically this should say whistling ridge. Gave this about an hour decant. Quite delicious and complex. Some reduction but does not overwhelm the wine

Flinty, orchard fruit, dry extract, med + acidity, long and complex ⚡️😍

First time with this bottling. Puligny-like with citrus, pear, white flower aromas framed with nice acidity/tension. Finish improved over time. Marcus crafts some very tasty CH!

This Chardonnay consistently delivers with its unique petro overlay which is a marker of nose and palette that I enjoy and appreciate when a winemaker goes in this direction. Lovely wine in its character and charm!

Flinty, struck match, citrus and pear 🤩

Pale straw color. Nose has some hints of diesel and minerals. Crisp, light palate.

Big matchstick reduction. Which is actually pretty delicious. Maybe a bit slutty. But I like it.
