Fine Rioja Slta style, with red fruit, thin body, notes of ageing and length, delicious, from a hidden gem in Rioja

Lush red and black fruits, showing oak aging well. Not an over the top coconut, America oak Rioja. It shows composure, stays true to tradition. Nice acidity, great complexity. Easy drinking as well.

Ripe and modern. Oak is still fresh on this little guy.

Spices burn on the first sniff, but fruit and almost sweet-smelling secondarily. Flavor reminiscent of Kentucky bourbon and gin. Full bodied, energetic, healthy, vibrant, and sturdy by still lithe. Has a sweet whiskey-like taste but is, of course, really dry, bracing, enervating. The fruitiness with the booze sweet burn was great with lamb!
