Lush red and black fruits, showing oak aging well. Not an over the top coconut, America oak Rioja. It shows composure, stays true to tradition. Nice acidity, great complexity. Easy drinking as well.

Spices burn on the first sniff, but fruit and almost sweet-smelling secondarily. Flavor reminiscent of Kentucky bourbon and gin. Full bodied, energetic, healthy, vibrant, and sturdy by still lithe. Has a sweet whiskey-like taste but is, of course, really dry, bracing, enervating. The fruitiness with the booze sweet burn was great with lamb!

Everything I look for in a nice rioja. Mouthfeel not aggressive, hitting on all cylinders here. Clean and bright on the nose more fruit forward. Great with tapas.

Medium bodied, with more tertiary firest floor flavors on the front before moving through pretty cherry flavors in the mid palate, finishing with subtle vanilla and smoky notes. Godd mix of modern and traditional styles.

Deep ruby turning to reddish Brown. Very well balanced, still in good shape although probably nearing the end before it starts to fade. Black cherries, leather, tobacco.
