A toasty Chardonnay throughout with a nose of yellow apple and toasted pear. Toastiness continues on the pallate with flavors of lemon zest, burnt carmel, and a touch of sweet vanilla. However, this wine would benefit with a bit more fruit and freshness. The sweetness did help it pair well with spicy chicken fajitas on a rainy Tuesday night! ($9) [9/18/18]

Bright gold in the glass. White flowers and banana on the plump nose. Full body. Banana, white peach, and that Viognier darkness on the palate. Medium acidity. Average finish when chilled. Mostly simple with a complex thread thanks to the other varieties (Chenin Blanc, Malvasia Bianco, Viognier). Take it on a picnic.

Aromas of citrus and stone fruit. On the palate too much going on that doesn't come together well. A bit out of balance. Pass.
