Sour cherry, caramel, coffee, toast, brioche, and spices. Drinks like a fine wine, more savory, chocolate, and dried notes on the palate. A tad sweet. — 19 days ago
Sweetness than I expected, which was a joy. Super buttery! Nice, subtle, crisp green apple.
Dry. Hints of raisin, sweet spice.
Scents of vanilla, pear, yellow melon. — a month ago
Low-action top, and black black. Mocha coffee with a caramel creaminess, and a vanilla shot. Licorice, cocoa nibs, a motor oil sweetness with banana leaf, rosemary, s’mores, and burnt brownie. Here comes the vanilla as advertised, bordering on extract, with a licorice cameo, molasses, brown sugar syrup, heavy tobacco chaw/plug, into an exquisite date reduction. This one plays games with your mouth, plunging suddenly into darkness with feigned, scraping reluctance then rebounds into jimmying oak, giving it super strength. And a fiery melted candy house. — 16 days ago
Not the most flavorful Chardonnay, but it was good — a month ago
This is one big, bold Shiraz. The wine colors up as inky black as night and smells of black fruit, leather and meat. On the palate, it’s a large time as well. Oak is pronounced, but it seems about right considering how brawny this wine drinks. Tannins are somewhat mellow, however, so it goes down easily.
