With the news of Beppe Rinaldi’s grave condition making the rounds, Il Professore and I wanted to share a bottle of Rinaldi Barolo. The 1971 was made by Beppe’s father, Battista, and was a real treat to drink. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, December 2018)

Horizontal tasting with 14 Barolos from '67. This was by far the biggest of them with the healthiest acidity but almost going thru a closed period. This can even age some more. There was a beautiful nose that appeared after dinner with violets and roses and dark dark cherries.
