Really enjoyed this medium bodied international varieties Tuscan. Leather and mocha. Lovely finish. Really food friendly too. Maybe I tried it a bit young but all that means is that I'll enjoy the next one even more!

2009 vintage. Smelled a little hot and saline along with some dill and fresh mint leaf in the nose. A bit of frontal palate richness along with mid-palate concentration. Finish was initially flat upon decanting but picked up some stream after an hour. 15% ABV. In a state of transition currently but headed in the right direction. Really nice blend and a very pleasant surprise. 3.11.23.

At first a blast of dark fruit, plum, blueberries, black currants and violet. Then a hint of green pepper then chocolate and wood. Super smooth integrated tannins, tiniest bit grippy at the end. Finish is loooong. Later as it opened some black tea also. Super.
