Vigne Sparse Roero Arneis

Great late summer flavors of ripe pear and citrus, clean finish with solid acidity. Great nose.

Delicious and spot on. Bruised pear, yellow apple, anise, a touch of honey liqueur and above average acidity. Pairs well and cleanses the palate. This can be a very solid go-to house white.

Aromatic intensity was high (4/5), honey, pear, Meyer lemon, crushed rocks/minerals, white and yellow flowers, sweet on the nose, dry on the palate, medium to medium plus acidity, moderate body, no phenolics.

Roero Arneis 2012, 13%. Fruity and fresh, easy to drink, perhaps a little too alcoholic.
