Nice and well balanced with sweet and ripe Barbera fruit jumping from the glass. On the palate it does lack multiple elements of greatness, but it's honest and straightforward delivering pure fruit and juicy acidity.

Very big and full took a little while to open up, fruit coming out more, cherries, still plenty of tannins.

Seems closed up right out of the bottle. Has a nice fruit and acidity, but the tannins kinda get in the way. Probably gets better with some air.

Strong alcohol and some kinda cream candy on the nose. Hint of grass or vegetable on the palate initially, followed by overwhelming taste of really sour cherry. Very strong alcohol finish. Medium tannis & body. Not really to my liking. Need to try another barbera for confirmation.
