Langhe Nebbiolo

Lean. Plums. Nice grip. Fast

I mistakenly tried to pair this with a tuna/tomato sauced pasta. It showed muddy and dried out.
Next night, I paired the remainder with sushi and it was brilliant. Showing crystalline red fruits with a contrasting/bracing character next to the umami of the fish.

Licorice and strawberries layered over dried herbs and dried flowers wrapped in suede-like tannins. Very pretty.

Not overly complex but good rep of Nebbiolo & showing some development with touch of age.

Slightly juicy ripe cherry and berry fruit with a surprisingly firm tannic finish. It's very Barbaresco-like.

A futur barbaresco for an awesome price !!

Paired with osso bucco - fantastic!

Aroma of cinnamon, dark cherries, and leather. Then cherry, raspberry, and rich soil followed by intense tannins. Or, “a dense black monolith” in Parviz’s terms.
