Big Boi. Tasted it next to the 98 which was lighter and showing more age. Also next to 01 and 03 giacosa Barolo. Which were also slightly lighter and more linear. 03 w/ more stewed/cooked fruit from the very ripe vintage. But the 97 finish was "endless ".

Vintage 1997. Delicious. Classic Barolo from Borgogno. Went perfectly with the food at Rasa. Cherry and leather. Wine evolved nicely over the course of the meal. Long finish.
