Cigar box - my kind of waft!

Stewed prune, cranberry, cherry, cedar wrapped blackberry. Some medium to heavy weight. I have had several vintages and this is the oldest, and easiest drinking now. Bang for the buck - WA wine is fantastic.

Ruby with aromas of simple fruits, tar and spice. On the palate cherry & cranberry flavors, cola and cinnamon spice. Fine tannins, medium+ ending with herbal earthy tones. Nice simple wine offering. Drink now! Tasting Sample!

Herbaceous nose - Provençal

Oregano, dark fruits - very tight, even after a couple of hours - Eucalyptus. A savory wine with some heft. Chewy tannins, pixie stick acidity. An oddity for sure, this may just need some years below ground.

Ripe. Overripe. Shoulda chilled. Super peppery. Thought Syrah at first. Am I crazy? Still has a few years on it

As said before, a rich lovely Cabernet Sauvignon ($20)

Lovely wine with Marsala Pork Tenderloin ($20). Rich and full of texture; per Gerrie “expressive of the region”.

Color of shades of purple, just a bit cloudy. Nose of beautiful aldehyde, dried strawberry, spice, vanilla, oak, a bit plum, a bit tobacco leaves, and some more dark fruit fragrance. Nose of nice. Taste of polished tannin, a bit sweetness from dark fruits note, bold zest, ripe grapes, oak, mellow and smooth. Aftertaste is also pretty solid, with a touch of peppery note.
