Jan 29th, 2017Not sure why the low scores, it’s a pretty typical blaufrankish IMHO - I liked it. On the nose, spicy dark fruit, pepper. In the mouth, funk-kay peppery dark fruit. Medium finish. Medium acid/tannin. Good. Great QPR

Jan 27th, 2021So this vintage is definitely wayyyyy better than the 2014 but there's still a very present tequila undertone at first..let it decant for at least 3 hrs and the strong alcohol taste smooths out. This one was actually drinkable though I will avoid in future. Unfortunately Delectable wouldn't work while I was at the SAQ and though i remembered having this wine before i couldn't remember if it was positive or negative... Had Delectable worked I wouldn't have bought this.

Jul 9th, 2018Soft ripe berries on the nose with a definite vegetal earthy note. Rich, supple fruit on the palate with touch of that vegetal vibe, and very soft tannins. Pasta, swordfish, carnitas... I feel more Austrian already😉
